    Trinity Education & Research Foundation donated new woolen sweaters to marginalized children

    Trinity Education and Research Foundation donated new/unused woolen sweaters to marginalized children of Snehalaya orphanage at Maloya, Chandigarh as a  simple gesture to help promote spirit of active citizenship and creating an environment of caring and sharing  which is must to envisage harmonious growth in the society.

    A special event was organized on 16 January 2016 at the orgphanage by NGO Yuvsatta where Chief Guest . Mr. Justice Surya Kant, a Sr. Judge at Punjab & Haryana High Court felicitated Mrs Aruna Bhardwaj, Advisor, Trinity Education & Research Foundation. In his message he appreciated the work done by the Foundation especially towards empowerment of girls and women through health education.

     

    Trinity Education and Research Foundation is a registered society established to carry out research, educational and training programmes in quest of quality health care. Trinity Education and Research Foundation is also committed to campaign on social causes like women empowerment through health education, save girl child and spreading awareness on preventive healthcare through various awareness camps.

    Dr Mohinder Kaushal, Secretary, Trinity Education & Research Foundation shared ‘ Our vision is to empower the  girl child through education. In our endeavour to serve the community and upliftment of the status of girl child, various activities are done under Trinity Education and Research Foundation in schools adopted by Trinity Foundation.

    Mrs Aruna Bhardwaj, Advisor, Trinity Education & Research Foundation in her address congratulated the students for their achievement. She also gave a details of  ongoing health program organized by Trinity Foundation in various schools in tri city. The program include

    • Periodic Health Checkups
    • Talk sessions on health and hygiene
    • Sex Education
    • Talk sessions on Sports Injuries and care
    • Blood Check up and giving iron and vitamin supplements if required.
    • Counselling parents about female foeticide and importance of girl child
    • Motivating girls by Scholarships. Scholarships namely Excellence in Sports and Excellence in Academics.
