    DRY NEEDLING

Today’s life is very fast. We are running from morning to night to accomplish our personal and professional tasks. This urban modern life takes a toll on our body and most of us in cities are experiencing pain in neck, back, Shoulder, knee, heel etc. Even the children and most fit persons such as sportsman are not spared. In western world people are opting for alternative system to avoid side effects of medicines.

One of such alternative treatment system is Dry Needling which is extremely popular in US, UK, China etc. Dry Needling is practiced by Physiotherapist certified in Dry Needling and Acupuncturist in India. Dry needling is used to treat wide range of musculoskeletal conditions such as Neck pain, back pain, shoulder and knee pain. Dry Needling and Acupuncture have no similarities except Tool.

Dry Needling involves insertion of thin needles into myofascial trigger points(painful knots in muscles) in order to stimulate healing. Patient has to visit clinic for once in 3 days. Once pain is under control then your physical therapist teaches you simple exercises which strengthen your muscles and keeps pain away from you.
